Pat Vinson spent more than three decades as a registered nurse — caring for people in their hardest moments. Today she welcomes guests in their happiest ones. The setting changed; her purpose didn’t.
She curated this home over many years, one treasure at a time. There isn’t a single piece of brand-new furniture, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Every piece has a story. Every chandelier was restored by hand.
The patio is where most guests end up. Morning coffee under the pergola, and a glass of wine at sunset beneath the string lights.
There’s room to spread out — a table for four under the umbrella, cushioned rocking chairs for the ones who’d rather not move, a television on the brick wall for the game, and enough shade to make a Texas afternoon perfectly pleasant.
My girlfriends and I loved this cute home. Communication was amazing with Pat, beds were extremely comfortable, and the home was perfect for our short girls trip with two littles to McKinney. We went to the farmers market Saturday and around the shops and it was all extremely close to Pat’s home.

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. I’d say definitely above average in my experience. I live in McKinney and rented Pat’s Airbnb for a family celebration, and it turned out to be just perfect.
This adorable house was clean and well-stocked with everything that we needed. Pat definitely puts a lot of TLC into her place, and it’s obvious that she cares about making sure you have a good experience. She was very personable in her communications with me during my stay. I highly recommend the place and will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Rustic Chandelier. The home was spotless, well-furnished, and stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and all the amenities worked perfectly.
Pat is an outstanding host—very responsive, attentive, and thoughtful. She made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, it felt like a home away from home, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting McKinney or nearby.

Pat’s place is simply amazing. We made the reservation on short notice on the same day, and yet the house was impeccable.
